Book Week

East Central School celebrated Children's Book Week with many fun activities!  We had two guest readers (which are Kids' Hope Mentors) each day.  We also had a book exchange, a book-a-thon, a "read-in" (we all read together), a "book buffet" (children read different genres of books in different areas of the rooms) and a "rock-in" (we had rocking chairs in the hallway for children to take turns sitting in and reading throughout . . . read more
